New Adventure

          Well if you cant guess by this lil clip-art, we have purchased our first house!!!! We are so excited! We take possession on April 25th as long as everything goes according to plans. It needs a little work but once we have it done it will be great! It is in a small town, bout 30 miles from where we live now. We are right in town (if you wanna call it a town LOL) across from the city park, have 1 neighbor & a cornfield on the other side of us. This is a really small town, there is no gas station or stores in town. Just a bar, car wash & a few tiny business. There are 2 slightly bigger towns about 10 miles away that have gas stations & lil stores if ya need something quick. We will get used to it pretty quick i think. We have always wanted to live in a smaller town so when we saw the house & saw that it had a lot of what we wanted with some potential we had to jump on it.
         The house has 2 bedrooms upstairs with 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is a finished basement with a non-conforming bedroom, utility room & half bath. There is a 1 car attached garage (mine lol ) then up behind the house there is a 20x30 3 car garage. It has been so hard to find something with the garage space that we need & a decent house for our price range.  There is also a decent sized yard that is fenced in the back yard.
       One bedroom upstairs is considered the Master with the attached bath. Then the living room with kind of an open plan into the dinning room & Kitchen. The kitchen needs an update but we are going to sand down/re-paint the cupboards for now & do some fer mica counter tops for now to make it look nice. The over all house needs re-painted through out.
       And man do we LOVE Craigslist!!! We got a couch & over sized chair, that was only 3 months old for a good price. Last night we went & looked at some appliances and they were great. Stainless steel & only 3 years old. We got a steal of a deal on those (Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher & microwave). We will pick those up this weekend.
      We are just super excited to get in a repaint & do some fixing up projects to make it our home sweet home. Oh and we are going to be getting a doggie!!!!! I cannot wait till we get to get a lil fur-ball!
